Returna Closes Seed Round to Scale Enterprise ITAD Platform
Returna has closed its seed round, led by Ollie ApS, to accelerate the growth of its ITAD orchestration platform. The investment will fund the expansion of the Return Hub network and deepen integration capabilities for enterprise IT teams globally.
The gap in enterprise IT disposition
Large enterprises retire thousands of IT devices every year. Laptops, monitors, phones, docking stations. All of it needs to be collected, wiped, assessed, and either redeployed, resold, or recycled.
Most companies still manage this through spreadsheets, email chains, and disconnected vendor relationships. IT teams spend weeks chasing erasure certificates. Finance teams have limited visibility into recovery value. Compliance teams piece together audit trails manually. On the vendor side, ITAD providers deal with the same friction in reverse, with no standardised way to receive volume or report outcomes.
It's a process that costs enterprises millions in lost value and overhead every year, and until now there hasn't been a purpose-built platform to fix it.
What Returna does
Returna is an ITAD orchestration platform. It connects enterprises with a certified network of Return Hubs to manage the full device disposition lifecycle from a single interface.
For enterprises, that means one dashboard for every device retirement across regions and vendors. Chain of custody tracking, certified data erasure, automated compliance reporting, and real-time visibility into recovery value. It integrates with the tools teams already use, including ServiceNow, Freshworks, HRIS, and MDM platforms.
For ITAD providers, or what we call Return Hubs, it means consistent enterprise volume without the sales overhead. Standardised workflows for diagnostics, erasure, and repair. Transparent settlement. And a certification programme that rewards operational quality with access to higher-value contracts.
Returna isn't another asset management tool. It's the orchestration layer that sits between enterprises and the vendors who do the actual work, making the process more efficient, more transparent, and more accountable for both sides.
Jens Ole Andersen joins as advisor
As part of the round, Jens Ole Andersen joins Returna as an advisor. Andersen brings extensive experience in scaling enterprise software businesses internationally, with a career spanning senior leadership roles in cybersecurity and B2B technology. He has been instrumental in growing companies from early traction to serving thousands of enterprise customers across multiple continents.
His involvement is strategic as much as financial. He understands the realities of selling into large organisations and building the kind of trust that complex procurement cycles demand.
"ITAD is a space that's been waiting for the right technology solution. Returna has the team, the product vision, and the market timing to become the standard for how enterprises handle device end-of-life. I'm excited to be part of that journey."

What this investment means
This funding accelerates two things: expanding the Return Hub network globally, and deepening the platform's integration capabilities for enterprise IT teams.
The ITAD industry is large, fragmented, and increasingly under regulatory pressure. Enterprises need better tooling. Vendors need better infrastructure. Returna sits at the intersection.
We believe IT asset disposition deserves the same level of tooling that procurement and IT service management received a decade ago. That's what we're building.
